” If investing is entertaining, if you are having fun, you are probably not making money. Good investing is boring.” – George Soros.
We all want to make a good return on our capital. But, not all of the retail investors are equally qualified to deploy their capital. At least, I am not.

A simple idea dawned on me for a long time. Why try to compete with some of the best minds of our generation? Why even try to beat Warren Buffett or Jeff Bezos, when you can have them work for you!
Why even try to beat Warren Buffett or Jeff Bezos, when you can have them work for you! I decided not to compete with them and other pioneers of our time, rather let them work for me.
My investment philosophy is based solely on this very idea (my only regret is it came a little late). And it’s working out alright (Check out my performance here). I decided not to compete with them and other pioneers of our time, rather let them work for me.

So, I created a team to work for me. Below is a list of all my managers working for me and a lot of others!
Company | Manager | |
Berkshire Hathaway | Warren Buffett
Berkshire Hathaway | Charlie Munger
Apple | Steve Jobs | |
Amazon | Jeff Bezos | |
Alphabet (Google) | Sergey Brin
Alphabet (Google) | Larry Page
Oracle | Larry Ellison | |
Alibaba | Jack Ma | |
Costco | James Senegal | |
Starbucks | Howard Schultz
Mark Zuckerberg | ||
Microsoft | Bill Gates | |
… |
Can you form a better team than this? Check out my performance before I formed this team.
This simple idea, not only let me sleep well at night but also produces a handsome return. However, there are a lot of intricacies of investing like when to buy and how much (more on this in my future posts).
Disclaimer – Long position on all listed above.
